What is your question?
2010 Silverdo 1500 4.8 It feels like the rear brakes are grabbing when coming to a stop. It doesn't happen all the time, but it usually happens when I first start out.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Better after I've been driving awhile.
How long has your 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?
Off and on for about a year now. Had the brake fluid changed and it was fine for awhile but start acting up again.

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I do not know for sure, but my guess is your rear brakes are drum brake style. Have the brake shoes been replaced lately? Any rear brake repairs? Proper shoe installation, proper mating surface of the drums and proper operation of wheel cylinders with no leakage and the correct installation of springs and components comes to mind when it comes to rear brake lock up. A good brake inspection is in order - to ensure all is properly installed and in good condition. If brake fluid has been changed, perhaps a fresh system bleed is needed. Since it's brakes - I definitely recommend a shop near you evaluate and figure out what is going on for your safety! https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
