The ignition key cylinder is froze up and the key wont turn. I cant get it to the start position to release the key cylinder to change it out. Possible that when I parked the wheels were to the right so it may be stering wheel pin didnt disengage ? because the stering wheel is not locked. I dont know if my truck yr/model has stering lock feature or not. Ive tried jiggling stering wheel ..shifter..lil ele parts cleaner..lil w-d..lil vibration and holy water..lol. There is this theft deterrent device on the key cylinder..kinda looks like a door hanger lol..my question is..can a theft device like this cause the key not to turn mayb through magnets?..or chip in key bad signal? Thanks!

no. sounds like you need a new lock cylinder, these trucks have a high failure rate of this, another possibility is the front wheels are turned and binding. try shaking the steering wheel while trying to turn the key.
