I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 classic with a lift kit and when I first got it and put it in four wheel drive and drove it a little the passenger side cv axle broke off from the inner part. I’m in need of a new one but I don’t know what to get if I need a stronger one or not.
How long has your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. A quick web search seems to show options for vehicles that have been lifted or have heavy duty requirements. These are not going to be factory options, rather aftermarket upgrades.
