SERVICE AIR BAG MESSAGE APPEARED THIS MORNING FOR NO APPARANT REASON, NO CRASH OR ANYTHING, JUST STARTED ENGINE AND IT WAS ON. IS THIS DANGEROUS? WHAT SHOUL I DO?

It's dangerous in that if you should be in some kind of accident, the air bags will not deploy. The system has effectively shut down. A diagnosis test should be performed as soon as possible to find out what safety item has been compromised. Good luck.
