What is your question?
Hi all, I drive a 07 silverado, 4x4 LT, 5.3 V8 with about 161000 miles. Not sure if it's related but I recently had changed my cv axle on the passenger side as the boot was broken upon inspection. I had changed the driver side about a year ago as well so it wasn't my first time and I didn't have any issues with that swap. My problem began while on the highway, I noticed squeezing noise, it happened a few times and then it turned into a loud knock that would vibrate my floor. I pulled off to see what was going on. While going slow it didn't seem to happen has frequent, I was able to do full 360s both ways and nothing. But a little speed behind her and you'd get it. Off ramps seem to be the worst with multiple knocks/bangs. Could this be bad bearings in the new cv?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Slow driving
How long has your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?

If the issue started after the replacement and it feels like it's coming from the general direction of that axle I would definitely start looking there first. I have gotten severely unbalanced cv axles right out of the box before. It's rare, but it happens. You definitely do not want to keep driving it though, if it is a faulty bearing you run the risk of it overheating and locking up.
