Why when I turn brights on the lights go completely out

Hello, it's quite possible that the high beam filaments are burned out in each bulb, and the low beams turn off when you use the high beams. Or, you could have a switch, wiring and wiring connector problem at the headlight or high beam switch. Check for power at the light sockets, check the bulbs for bad filaments.
