Power Seat

Sounds like only one gear set is working, so only one side of the seat is moving. What I do, is I take out the whole seat and put it on the ground, upside down, then I use a battery to move the seat and look at what is binding or not working. It is pain, but I fix a lot of seats, 'really right' the first time.
