What is your question?
My 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4.3 L short bed will not crank. The tank is full of gas, turns over, and will backfire, but will not engage. This has been going on for about 6 weeks and is continuing. It is burning fuel "hotter" than usual as well. There are no leaks and the mileage on the engine is approximately 35,000 (New engine in 2012). I have used injector cleaners, fuel additives, etc to no avail. Can you help
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse when fuel is low in tank
How long has your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?
Approximately 5-6 weeks

"Will turn over but not crank" - what does this mean? Typically, cranking is "turning over". Do you mean the engine cranks but will not start? I don't know the background and source of the "replacement engine" and what came with it when it was installed, so it's absolutely impossible to guess compatibility. Assuming all is installed as designed, it will definitely require diagnostic testing of the fuel, ignition and air intake systems to know what is lacking and what needs to be serviced and repaired.
