blower fan doesn't work on high

Its sounds like the blower motor resistor is starting to fail. The #5 blower position has burnt out, the others will fail soon.

mine did the same thing. i then changed the blow resistor/switch and now the blower works again, but only positions 1-4. 5 still doesn't work :(

check the 7 wire plug on the resistor/switch, wiggle it with the ignition switch and fan switch on! my plug was shorting out!.
