What is your question?
I drive without AC on and its ok. 5 min. after I put AC on it AC just stops, ABS, Brake and Engine light come on. No problem driving until I shut it off, when i try to restart I get nothing. When i let it cool down it starts normally. This has happened several times and mechanics are stumped. HELP! I don't want to get stranded.
What makes this problem better or worse?
seems triggered by the AC?
How long has your 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?

But to answer your question.... The symptoms the Silverado is having could indicate a few issues all happening together. Like a symphony of uncoolness. One possibility is a problem with the AC compressor or its clutch, causing it to seize when engaged, which could overload the system and trigger the warning lights. This could also strain the engine, leading to difficulty restarting until it cools down. Another possibility is an electrical issue related to the AC system or a sensor malfunction, causing the system to shut down and triggering the warning lights. Either way, it's going to take time to pinpoint the It's essential to address this issue promptly to prevent being stranded, especially in hot weather.
