Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. If your Silverado spews oil after an oil change and you've ensured that the filter and drain plug are snug, it could be due to a couple of things. First, check if the oil filter seal is aligned correctly and not damaged. Sometimes, the old gasket can stick to the engine, causing leaks if not removed. Next, check your oil level. If the oil has been severely overfilled, it could be forced out of other places in the engine.
