The air ventilation/heating system only blows cold air inside and the A/C works fine, however, if I turn the know to the heated air section it still blows cold air inside the car

A stuck or faulty blend door actuator is one of the most frequent causes, as this is the component responsible for directing air through the heater core when you turn the knob to heat. A clogged or bypassed heater core is another strong possibility, particularly on a vehicle of this age, as a heater core that isn't getting proper coolant flow will produce little to no heat regardless of where the controls are set. It's also worth checking the coolant level and making sure the engine is reaching proper operating temperature, as a stuck open thermostat can prevent the coolant from getting hot enough to produce adequate heat. A qualified shop can quickly narrow down whether this is a blend door, heater core, or cooling system issue and get your heat working before winter sets in.
