Changing belts on my 2000 Chevy PU?

There are 2 belts on those engines, they each have thier own spring loaded belt tensioner. You wil need to rotate the tensioner to release the tension to remove the belt. There are tools available to do this, and are reasonably priced. A long ratchet will also work.
