Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. Sounds like your Silverado is playing hard to get. Given that the starter and solenoid are in good shape, and the battery's got plenty of juice, the grind and then nothing could point to a few possibilities. First, you might be looking at a worn-out flywheel or a damaged ring gear, which could explain the grind and lack of follow-through. If those teeth aren't catching, the engine won't turn over. Since it won't even push start, that could suggest an issue beyond the starter, possibly with the clutch or a bad ignition switch. Also, double-check all the ground connections and cables for corrosion or loose connections. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
