I have a 2007 Chevrolet Silvrtado 1500 WT Classis. The interior rear view mirror has a connector with black, blue, green yellow wires going to it, what are these wires going to and what are the color codes power wise goto, I want to use these wires for a accessory port power....I can't find anything that tell me what the color wire are and voltage and where they come from, the owner manual and shop manuals don't really tell me anything. Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I can look up the wiring diagram but I'm going to tell you straight up - do not tap into this harness. It's not a good idea. There is an accessory power port circuit in the fuse box already; that's the best place to work off of. I show 7 wires to the inside rearview mirror. None of these wires show "hot at all times". The 50A LBEC fuse seems to secure the auxiliary power source. I have four (4) wires to the mirror: BLACK, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE at the connector. The mirror has the seat belt light in it only..... no I'm not going to do anything to it I'm curious what the wires are ?..... What are the main power colors to use when needed for accessories?
