2004 check while driving the engine light fashes when i push down on the gas peddle so i turn the key off an on it i guess resets it then happens again no codes thrown but hit read codes an it says cylinder 5 misfre

NO reset for a misfire! if that light came on and was flashing/blinking you should have noticed it without even looking at the light because it was misfiring/shaking/bucking. don't drive it with the light flashing or more damage will occur,fix the misfire before you damage the converter(s) and that's costly!
