What is your question?
The clutch for the A/C won't engage the compressor when i turn it on. There are fuses for the A/C system both inside the car and under the hood. All of the mini fuses are fine, it's the one larger fuse I'm unsure about. Any special way to remove it or see if it's blown? I'm unsure if I'm even able to check this fuse. Any other suggestions on this matter would be appreciated

Has a shop checked the system for proper freon amount? Because if its low on freon the pressure switch won't let power go to the AC clutch, You can find a shop here https://repairpal.com/chevrolet-repair-in-decorah-iowa and check AC service prices here https://repairpal.com/estimator/chevrolet/monte+carlo
I got the same car with the same problem. I wired the compressor straight to the battery and the compressor turned on but it was shot. So all i need to do is replace the compressor and it will run fine. You can try wiring your compressor to the battery and it will most likely kick on. If your air conditioner works then nothing else needs to be done. leave it that way. but if it dont then you need a new compressor
