What is your question?
I did an oil change 2 days ago and while I was driving today my low oil light came on. When I checked my oil it was empty again. I let it sit for a while and then moved it and there was no puddle that would indicate any leaking. There are no noises either. I also just got my car worked on and they replaced my water pump, radiator, and hoses. Could that have something to do with it? I also checked the oil filter and there's no leaking.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Not driving it

Hi! This is Bo with Car Genius at RepairPal! Well, that's very strange! We have "The Mystery of the Disappearing Oil!" A few things right off the bat, when you're checking the oil, are you pulling the dipstick right after the car is shut off or better yet, while it's still running? When you check the oil, make sure the car has had a chance to sit and cool off so the oil has a chance to drain back into the pan so you can get an accurate measurement. Also, make sure it is on a level surface. The water pump, radiator, and hoses shouldn't cause any oil loss. One last thought; I wonder if there's a hole somewhere that's allowing the oil to leak out as the car Is being driven and the oil is hot? Or possibly the drain plug is only finger tight or stripped causing oil to leak out while driving? Those two possibilities are pretty wild but I've seen some weird stuff over the years!
