Power steering and brake fail

Your vehicle does have a hydraulic brake booster and pump. This system utilizes power steering fluid to operate. I suspect a loss of power steering fluid from either the power steering system or the hydraulic brake booster system -- including possibly from related hoses. This should be fairly easy to detect, as there should be signs of a large leak. Could be as simple as a leak from a hose or line, but could be as complex as a hydraulic booster or power steering pump issue.
