I’m trying to figure out what it wrong with my car. I’m hearing grinding noises coming from the left tire. It’s only when I made a slow left turn. When I jack up my car my tire won’t even spin
How long has your 2016 Chevrolet Impala Limited had this problem?
More than a month

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. If your wheel on the left front tire will not spin at all when jacked up - keep in mind, you have a front wheel drive vehicle and the transmission would have to be in neutral to spin the wheel freely. Or, in gear to turn it at all. If in neutral and the wheel won't spin - and the opposite wheel is verified to spin -- this can be due to a brake caliper that is stuck with the brakes engaged on the left front, or it could be that there is a wheel bearing concern. Too hard to know without a hands on professional evaluation, but those are guesses to start with. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
