1995 Chevy G30 Van-350 V8 (Gas): what transmission do I have?

the 4l60e or the 4l80e

4L60e located on lower right at back by pan or a 4L80 e/4L80 ehd will have a P on tag

someone please correct me if i'm wrong ) i believe its a 700R or ,just mabe a 4L80E ,the 4L80e i do believe is wrong ,as i said some please correct if wrong

Ive done alot of searching and Chevrolet offered both these trannys in there vans, a G10 and G20 used the 4l60 trannys these were less heavy duty and also used into Astro and mini Blazer and other trucks like the S10 Etc. They only used the 4L80 Transmission in vans that were the G30 because it needed a heavy-duty Transmission, this Tranny was also used in the heavy duty trucks and any motor that was a Diesel. I knew they werent using no 4L60 transmission for my G30. I have the sportsman camper van and it weighs close to 9,000lbs there's no way that 4L60 could handle all the abuse of dragging all that weight around. The G30 van also had the heavy duty 14 bolt 10.5 ring and pinion also known as the Dana 80 rearend with 35 spline axles. Yours truly Jorge Jose DaCosta.
