What is your question?
My G30 Motor home has a problem Not wanting to charge from the alternator. I had sort of the same problem with my Chevy Silverado which is a 350 5.7. Just like the Chevy Van, is it 350 5.7 The problem with the Silverado. The reason it wasn't charging is because the hot wire relay was burnt. Do I have sort of the same thing with this Chevy Van a hot wire relay? If so, where's it at? Can you show me a diagram Of how the hot wire runs all the way to the back to the spare battery. And we're my solenoid would be and how everything hooks together I tried to fine on YouTube but nothing for the year I have. I see wires cut and no a Alternator working Help please
What makes this problem better or worse?
If not charging right when you start it
How long has your 1990 Chevrolet G30 had this problem?
I've only had it for a week

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Given that your G30 was converted to a motorhome, and not produced by GM as a one, it means that information regarding additional auxiliary batteries will be difficult to come by. I've looked at the factory diagrams for 1990 (should be like an '88) and the alternator charging cable runs to the battery junction block, and from there power is directed throughout the vehicle. The wire in connector is for illumination of the charging system fault lamp in the instrument panel. As for the wires you found cut, they're worth investigating if they originate from the alternator or the battery junction block.
