Doing a drive cycle you state to not use your brake pedal to stop but to coast to a stop. How do you do that when at idle the car will still move forward? Does not make sense. Then idle for 2 minutes...in park or Drive? I heard it has to be in Drive with the E park on.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, where are you seeing that information? Here is a great article about completing a drive cycle: https://repairpal.com/drive-cycle-issues In my personal experience, I never have to coast to a stop performing a drive cycle road test. Most of the important stuff is driving for a sustained period of time between 55-60 mph and maintaining between 1/4 and 3/4 of a tank of fuel. That's over-simplifying, but it's important.
