What is your question?
Express 3500; LQ4 6.0L V8 Symptoms: - 1st symptom(?) - February: key to Start - dash goes black, starter clicks 3 times and engine starts, runs and drives normally. - 2nd symptom - May: turn key not power to anything. I disconnect battery. - 3rd symptom - After setting with battery disconnected overnight, van started but with very low idle. Touching gas or putting into gear will stall the engine until the engine is close to operating temperature. ... Once the engine reaches operating temperature the van runs and drives without symptoms. Checks/Maintenance: - No check engine light - Battery tested as Low but not bad. - Parasitic drain of only 0.76 mA was not isolated to any fused circuit. - Alternator/Started test good - Starter cables (2 of 3) removed and cleaned. I was unable to fit anything to the 3rd recessed bolt (?) - Air filter is not dirty-- Cleaned air mass meter for good measure.-- Throttle plate looks clean and does not feel like it is sticking when moved manually.

Hi, good question and good detailed information provided. The problem is - without being able to test the vehicle hands on, ther's not much in the way of suggestion to offer. I always suggest making sure you have a known good battery that can surely sustain a load -- and you haven't actualy tested the battery with any equipment, so how can you say it is not "bad"? A faulty battery will do everything you're saying. It's not always cut and dry "good" and "low charge" and bad - batteries can be difficult to pin down. Beyond that, you've done quite a bit to solve the concern - but you'll need some hands on testing with good test equipment including a voltmeter / ohmmeter so you can trace down circuits and their operation. I'd suggest getting in touch with a shop near you to troubleshoot. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
