I replaced the in tank fuel pump with sensor, corrected fuel gauge, thought it was out, and the P0339 code came up only after I replaced the fuel pump unit, showed no OBD 2 troubleshooting codes before. I replaced the P0339 code crankshaft sensor, and connector, and started instantly 5 times, took for test drive in driveway, and stalled and have not been able to restart for one week. The relay control center is now on after replacing the crankshaft sensor connector when off the whole time before.
I did not do a crank sensor relearn. I'll have to get someone to do it for me. Days later, "ALL DONE NOW" with the relearn able to do it with an Autel Al 301 C.A.N./OBD II Diagnostic Tool. The relearn was linked to the Comprehensive Component Monitor (make sure it is on, if not turn key off, then plug back in, and wait about 4 minutes) and the CCM will say "Ready", this function turns the check engine light or mil back on, and troubleshooting code or codes back on if already removed, so you will have to remove again. Then your crankshaft position sensor relearn begins, and your done when your test drive procedure is over on the GM relearn "search". I did not do the test drive until the next morning for 1 hour on 3 different test drives, the last one on the freeway. All is fine!
