where is the location of the vapor canister purge valve 2012 captiva

I'm sorry, we have no way to post photos. The vent valve is part of the evaporative canister and can be removed from there. The purge solenoid is under the intake manifold trim cover near the throttle body. I caution you to perform needed testing before guessing on a component replacement based off of a code.
