i have a 2000 chevy 3500 pickup and today for some reason after getting gas the truck has no power and bogs down when i hit the gas pedal

In the winter it's not uncommon to get water in the fuel at a gas station. This is a Diesel, right? Water is a problem in Diesels and I think that's what's wrong. Get the fuel filter off and see if there's water or dirt in it. Replace it with a new one unless the fuel is clean and the filter is already new. May sound Silly but i'd first check the Air/Fuel filters... as these both cause the mentioned troubles.
