Replacing the 4X4 actuator on my truck, the sensor for the actuator is a 2 wire

But the actuator I have to replace it with is a 3 wire. I need to know if I can convert the 3 to a 2 by putting on my old lock plug and what the wire match up would be. Thanks for any help
