What is your question?
i have a 92 diesel 2500 n the fuel meter is going back and forth. anyone got ideas of why

If the gas gauge reads erratic it sounds like the sender unit in the tank is bad. Hopefully someone that works on Chevy 2500 has seen this before and can say for sure it is the sender unit. Perhaps call a few dealers and ask them if they have sen this before may be they see it all the time and won't charge diagnostic time to figure out a problem they frequently see.

sounds like the potentiometer in the fuel pump assembly is faulty or the floater has a broken clip which keeps it in place and it jumps up and down.
