why does my 97 c1500 keep throwing P0302 codes after installing a new distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and wires?

I also keep getting a P0302 P, and a P0143 code. will clear the code, then after about 30 seconds, or immediately sometimes, it will start showing again.

How long has your 1997 Chevrolet C1500 had this problem?
