Rear Differential rebuild costs

Minimum is about $900 which includes all new carrier, pinion bearings and axle bearings and all new seals. If the Ring and Pinion gear is ruined then that would add another $500-600. Hopefully the differential housing is ok because that would involve even more $. If that is the case, I would get a used housing from a wrecking yard and then rebuild that or a new new housing could cost and additional $1000.

$1150.00 plus tax just bpaid for mine. Carrier bearing went out and busted teeth off pinion gear all had to be replaced

not that much yo just go to the junk yard foo did mine for 200 bucks in my trans am. what kind of moron pays 1150 for a rear end job you could have bought all new gears online and done it your self for half ... if that...what a joke you got ripped off bro sorry to tell you
