What is your question?
My 1994 Chevy 1500 has a digital control unit for my heater and A/C. The temp control uses arrows to show where the temp is set. All of these arrows flash at the same time and I am unable to change the temp settings. I changed out the unit with a new one figuring it had gone bad. The same thing happens with the new one. Can you give me any ideas of what might fix this problem?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Always the same
How long has your 1994 Chevrolet C1500 had this problem?
About a month

Hello, It may be telling you that it has lost contact with the blend door actuator that control the temperature of the air moving from the blower motor to the vents. If that is the case, disconnecting the actuator will likely not show any difference, but you may find that the actuator does not respond to direct voltage, or that there is no voltage coming to the actuator. Check fuses first, as the actuator may have a dedicated fuse, or it could be powered by piggybacking on another fuse. Then, test the actuator with an external power source. You could also make sure all the contacts for the control unit and connector are clean too.
