What is your question?
My 1993 Chevy Silverado with a 305 cu in engine after it is run a while and shut off, and sets a while when it starts and runs very rough, won’t idle at all, like it’s not getting fuel! Then maybe five minutes suddenly it starts running like normal? Anyone had this problem, sure would like to hear from ya! Code 33 is the only code so I replaced the map sensor but no help there! Can’t find vacuum leak anywhere! GOD BLESS

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your C1500. It sounds like you're dealing with an intermittent issue that could be related to several different things. Since you've already replaced the MAP sensor and checked for vacuum leaks, I recommend confirming you're getting the correct readings from other sensors, such as O2 and the coolant temperature sensors. Faulty sensors can lead to the incorrect fuel mixture reaching the combustion chamber. It is also worth inspecting the ignition module for a failure that corrects itself as the engine warms up. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
