the brake light comes on after a mile or so of driving had brakes checked everything seems fine.it brakes good just the light comes on what could cause this?
It is the powertrain control module that causes this to happen. Does the brake light come on when you reach 35 mph? Is cruise control operative? If yes and no, then the buffer located in the "pcm" from the vehicle speed sensor to cruise control is defective. This causes the brake light on the dash to illuminate.
