The cruise control will not engage.

What is your question?

It was intermittant so I replaced the control on the turnsignal and now it will not engage at all.

Check for a blown fuse first. If that doesn't do it, then check the powertrain control module. It has a buffer that is linked to the vehicle speed sensor and cruise control.
