WHEN I PULL THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE SHIFTER INTO 4 HIGH IT FEELS LIKE IT IS LOCKING IN PROPERLY BUT THE INDICATOR LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON & IT IS NOT LOCKING INTO 4 WHEEL DRIVE. WHY WOULD IT DO THIS ?

check the thermo coupler. its what locks the hubs in light wont go on if one goes out. good luck
