Where is the fuse for the power seat? my power seat quit working and

My power seat quit working. I ran a hardwired from the battery to the motor and the seat started working just fine. So I figured it is either the switch or simply a fuse. But I can't locate the fuse. Please help me. ..... How long have you had this problem? 3 months
