while pulling a 7000 pound trailer on the hiway the transmission shifts into 3rd. gear and will not go into any other forward gear. it will go into reverice. what is it's problem?
YOU ARE CORRECT IN THAT I DO GET AN ERR COAD. IN FACT I GET TWO ERROR COADES. THE FIRST IS COAD 43 WHITCH SAYS THAT THE SPARK CONTROL MODGULE IS NOT RECEIVING THE SIGENLE FROM THE KNOCK SENSOR. I HAVE REPLACED AND CHECKED THE NEW SENSOR AND IT IS FUNCTIONING PER SPEC. QUESTION? WHERE IS THE SPARL CONTROL MODGULE? mY REPAIR MANULE SHOWES ANE TELLS HOW TO REMOVE & REPLACE BUT I CAN NOT LOCATE THE SENSOR WHERE THE BOOK SAY'S IT IS.??? THE SECOND ERROE COAD IS COAD 73 - THE SPEED SENSOR. AGAIN THE BOOK SHOWES AND TELLS HOW TO DO THE R&R BUT DOES NOT TELL YOU WHERE TO FIND THE DAMN THING. CAN YOU HELP???
