fan speed
What is your question?
while in the heater/defroster setting my fan does not go to high speed. at times in may kick in for a few moments then goes back down, what is possible problem? the fan switch or what?

The fan switch could be the problem with the HVAC blower of your 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. The fault could also be the relay or a connection issue anywhere in the blower motor circuit. I complete diagnoses of the blower motor may be necessary to isolate the cause of your fault.
