Neg ground fried. Fixed it new battery starter clicks no start

Fried neg ground by battery truck just shut down while driving. Replaced the cable got new starter & battery but still won't start all electrical seems to work but won't start it clicks What seems to make the problem better or worse? I couldn't say one way or another How long have you had this problem? Two weeks stuck now
