Part prices can vary a lot. Quality is the main factor when selecting parts. (I would be leery of a $22.00 pit-man arm)I would try going down to your local NAPA parts store and even call the dealer to get a range of pricing. The problem with buying a low quality pit-man are is that the bushings will usually wear out faster than a higher quality one and you would have to replace it again and the labor doesn't get any cheaper. The Avalanche is a heavy vehicle that has several moving parts in the steering and I personally would recommend going with a higher quality part such as a OEM(dealer) or NAPA is a good place to get quality parts too. I would also call your local shop and ask what they charge (it'll be higher than what you would -pay if you walked into a store and bought it yourself) and ask about the warranty. Even though it's more money sometimes the warranty is the better option since they will cover parts and labor. If you bring in your own part, chances are you're not going to get any kind of warranty in the event it goes bad. Hopefully this helps.
What did they say these are for, and them being bad what does it cause the truck to do?
