What is your question?
The transmission seems to be developing a problem. It sometimes hesitates and the RPMs rev up while taking off from a dead stop. The vehicle has about 96000 miles on it and it doesn;t happen all the time. Iteems to happen more often when I do a gradual acceleration. If it hit the gas while already moving it seems to shift ok. I have been told that this transmission is a sealed unit and can only be fixed by changing it out and I'm looking for conformation of this.
What makes this problem better or worse?
I really can'y say but it seems to be worse when I do a gradual acceler
How long has your 2019 Cadillac XTS had this problem?

Hello, most transmissions could be repaired - but the problem is, parts to rebuild or repair them are often scarce, as the manufacturer does not really support tear down and repair in the field as a successful endeavor. Many factors are needed to perform a transmission rebuild, such as a very clean environment, proper tooling and available parts. It is likely that most would choose too replace the transmission assembly on your XTS and it's unlikely General Motors provides parts readily to rebuilt it.
