What is your question?
My GM service dealer recommended the right lower control arm bushings be replaced as they were worn, they quoted me a price to replace both bushings and a wheel alignment, I took the car in to get the work done, after I picked up my car I noticed that they had only replaced one bushing and a wheel alignment. My car has 113,000 km on it. When I questioned them about only changing one bushing they said only one was worn, I find that hard to believe. My question to you is what should the standard practice be when replacing these bushings, from my industrial experience as a Maintenance Manager it would make more sense to replace both bushings.

What strikes me odd is that the initial estimate was providing for both to be replaced, but in the end they only replaced one. My biggest concern is more about what you were told would be done versus what was actually done. I would definitely question the manager of the facility you are utilizing.
