What is your question?
We own a 2015 Cadillac SRX. On our recent road trip, (we have 60,475 miles on the vehicle) when we were driving on the interstate, after a while of driving between 70 and 75/MPH, we saw the speedometer needle go up to 100/MPH and just got stuck there. The digital speed was showing fine but when I reduced speed and took an exit to see what was going on, the needle still remained on 100/MPH. This happened a couple of times after shutting the car off and back on. However, driving the car at a lower speed, between 40 and 45/MPH, everything is normal. We took the car to the Cadillac dealership and even after driving it for 60 miles on the interstate are unable to replicate the issue. Has anyone ever reported such a problem?
What makes this problem better or worse?
driving at lower speed - good. Driving at higher speed 70/MPH - not good.
How long has your 2015 Cadillac SRX had this problem?
first time ever, started 4 days ago.

Hello, sounds like the speedometer itself may have had some kind of internal failure -- especially seeing as the digital display remained correct. This kind of illustrates that the data never failed, but the method of display did. Further continued hands on testing is recommended. It'll happen during testing and the root cause will be identified with time, patience and effort. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
