Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I don't see any way or reason that the vehicle would start without being commanded to do so. This would also be a difficult thing to diagnose because it happens so infrequently. Make sure your key fobs are secure, and that there are no aftermarket modifications to the vehicle.
