Can i interchange the 3.6 litre awd with a 3.6 litre 2wd?

I am changing a 3.6 litre v6 awd in a 2006 Cadillac SRX..the engine I got is a 3.6 litre v6 2wd out of a 2006 Cadillac CTS...is there a way for me to interchange these 2 or do i have to go grab another one that is out of an awd?
