can't clear my warnings on monitor screen. button won't respond

when i came home from a trip after gone a month i started my 2004 SRX and the monitor screen flashed and i notice the clear botton and radio buttons won't respond is this a reset issue. i can change radio channels on the steering wheel, but all buttons on dash don't respond? ALL thermostat ,heat air buttons works fine(No issues) Just information buttons, up down clear and radio buttons don't work
