i have a 02 cadillac escalade truck i take very good care of it like with oil changes, etc. my truck would work fine and then all of a sudden it will turn off while im driving and wont turn back on for over an hour, i took it to a mechanic and they replaced the fuel pump and filter and they said they fixed it but the next day it dyed again and hasnt turned back on for 3 days! they dont no whats wrong with it...does anyone have an idea? oh yea and its not the battery

check your catylic converter it may be clog, pushing your emissions back into the motor ..possibly the problem. i am having the same problem.its going to shop tomorrow. Have a mechanic hook up the computer to diagnose the problem also..okeedokee good luck
