dome light switch is out, "set for on". Switch dims the panel lights and manually turns on lights. No. 5 -15A - fuse is good.

Could it not also be the dash switch or the timer delay circuit for interior lights? is there a separate timer board connected to the dash switch? I understand that the door switches are located at or in the latches, is that right?
