Thank you Dave. Also where is the mode door acuator located on the 98 Park Ave

The driver's side mode door actuator is located in the center -- right hand side of the instrument panel, on the right of the HVAC module. The passenger one is located behind the instrumental panel on the passenger side. Not an easy do it yourself job, to be fair.
